Welcome to Hump Day Update, the place to find out everything you need to know about what’s been going on in the entertainment world for the week. I’m Rachel A.G. Gilman. But enough about me, let’s get to the news.

Jennifer Hudson and Iggy Azalea released their video for “Trouble” this week. In the video, J-Hud answers everyone’s prayers and finally puts Iggy in a pair of handcuffs, stopping her from her booty-shaking, outrageous comment making ways. Not so fancy anymore, are you Iggy?

“The Goldbergs” had their much anticipated “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” episode, ending with Barry Goldberg getting the girl and singing on a parade float, a la Ferris. It was good, but you know what would be even better? “The Breakfast Club” episode — Adam channeling Anthony Michael Hall definitely needs to happen!

Someone other than Kanye West was speaking Beyoncé’s praises this week. Ne-Yo spoke to British magazine Heat, saying he loves “her royalty factor.” See, Kanye, it is possible to give a compliment without interrupting an award’s show, although I think it’s a little odd you’re both so passionate about Jay-Z’s girl.

In other Kanye news, he released the title for his much-anticipated album, “So Help Me God.” With “Yeezus,” the guy basically implied he was Jesus, so this shouldn’t surprise anyone. But why is Kanye asking Kanye for help? With Kim’s new contract for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” has she realized she is capable of making her own wardrobe decisions? Hang in there, Kanye.

Madonna took a tumble during her performance at the Brit Awards when her cape did not detach from her ensemble quickly enough. Everyone was concerned about whether or not the Material Girl was all right, but I’m worried for the back-up dancer who pulled the cape too hard and caused the fall. It can’t be easy to get another job after you get the rep for sweeping Madonna off her feet in the least appealing way possible.

During the actual awards part of the show, big winners included Brits themselves, like Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. The latter of the two was said to have had a bit too much to drink while celebrating his accomplishments. Let’s just hope Sheeran didn’t end up like his song “Drunk” on the right side of the wrong bed. His girlfriend wouldn’t be a fan after that (though the rest of the world might end up with a hit break up song).

The series finale of “Parks and Recreation” sadly happened this week, bringing tears, laughs, and smiles to everyone’s faces. With all this extra time on her hands, let’s all cross our fingers and toes Amy Poehler might return and help the ever-struggling cast of “SNL” be funny once again. After all, “Parks and Rec” taught us to dream, right?

Jimmy Fallon and Christina Aguilera almost broke the Internet without nudity, lamas, or a color-changing dress with their video of Aguilera impersonating Cher and Britney Spears. The video got more views than Britney’s “Perfume” video, which has the world wondering, “When is Christina headed to Vegas to give these divas a run for their money?”

And finally, “How to Get Away with Murder” wrapped this week, telling us little more than we knew a few months ago. Without giving away any spoilers for those of you waiting for spring break to get caught up, let’s just say Shonda continues the trend of characters trying to cover up their crimes. Here’s hoping your favorite character makes it through season two without being convicted or killed!

Hope you enjoyed this week! See you back here next Wednesday.
